My Mom is visiting this week. Will was very excited to learn that his "nother Grandma" was coming for a visit. I know that most kids love their Grandparents, but this kid adores his. Jake is very happy too as he can always find someone for "uppies" It is strange to have my mom as an out of town guest and I know I will, we all will really, miss her when she leaves, but it is nice to have her here.

Spring may come. . . Hope is in sight
The snow is starting to melt, the air is warming up, I think Spring may find us here after all! With the onset of warmer we have been able to play outside, Jake has not really been out much this winter so he has been very hesitant. I can't really blame him he is so bundled up he can't really move. With his puffy jacket and mittens he reminds me of Pooh Bear! So the first day I took him out I set him down on the ground and he stood there like stone not moving a muscle until he started to cry for me to pick him up. We walked around a bit and then Will fell in the snow and needed some help up I put Jake down, and here is where he really got stressed out, I walked away. I know can you even imagine that I would do such a thing to a little guy? He starts crying, his sad, sad cry, and puts his little pooh bear arms in the air. So cute-of course what should go through my mind being the terrible mommy I am- darn if only I had a camera that fit in my pocket I could capture his precious little face! LOL! We have been out a few more times since then and he will now walk on the grass or on the sidewalk, but stops dead in his tracks when he gets close to the snow, even if he is following Will or chasing the ball, he will not go on the snow. He so cute I wish I could just bottle him up (at least when he is being precious and not proving that he has mommy's temper!)

Cute Brothers
Will and Jake are starting to play together more and more everyday. Today Will climbed up in the rocking chair and then I look over and little Jakey is trying to climb up to sit with him. Will says to me, "Jakey wants upla" (which is what Jake says when he wants up sometimes). So I set Jake beside Will and they sit there and rock both as happy as can be. They even say there long enough for me to go and grab my camera and take this shot. A bit out of focus because they are rocking but a keeper none the less!

Today. . .
was exhausting. It started out well enough. I thought I would do a little cleaning before my chat at Designer Digitals. This is the third of this type of challenge: the first one was on Jonah's Birthday the second was on moving day, so today was the one I was going to be able to participate in. So I started doing a little cleaning (so I wouldn't feel like I was shirking my duties) I get my MIL's central vac hose from the garage and hook it up, I vacuum all the way up the stairs and prepare to do the downstairs when what do I do. . . fall down the stairs. Well not all the way down, but enough to twist my ankle. It hurt quite a bit and made me mostly useless for the rest of the day.
Anyway on again with trying to take and upload (here is the real challenge) a photo a day: Here is Jake mesmerized with his sippy cup. His new favorite activity is to carry this cup around and drink from it. I know not the greatest photo, but it was not the greatest day!
