100 Photos

As you know I have been taking a photo a day (sometimes many more than one) since January. I missed a couple of days so my 100th day of taking a photo a day was yesterday! The hardest part is coming with something to take sometimes our days are pretty boring, but I do love looking back at all of the ordinary moments of our lives. Here is a collage of all 100:

This week

We had another week of sickness - urg. Jake got a cold early in the week and then had a fever on top of that. He was pretty miserable and is whiny when he is sick so we were all miserable! Then Yesterday Will woke up with a fever as well. So yesterday we wiped a lot of noses and cuddled with little boys that felt lousy. Today they are both feeling better. Their fevers are down, they still have runny noses but over all it is a big improvement on the earlier part of the week.

Last week

I am determined to be better at blogging, so here is last week in a Nutshell :)

I have a fever under there . . .

Jake has been feeling under the weather with a cold and a fever for a couple of days and now it seems he has shared it with his brother. This morning Will woke up with a fever and runny nose and a bit of a cough. He felt warm but I decided to take his temperature any to be sure. It was 102 so we gave him some meds to help bring it down. Later he was laying on the couch and I asked him how he felt and said not really good. Trying to determine what exactly is wrong I asked him where he felt bad at "my arm hurts," he said. Confused I asked him why his arm hurt. He looked up at me so innocently and said, "because I have a fever under there." I had taken his temperature under his arm earlier that morning :)

February Photo of the day

Wow I have been terrible about keeping up with Blogging. Only one post last month and this month is already half over! February seemed to just fly by. I know that it is the shortest month so it always seems to very quickly, but you add to that the fact that we were sick for almost two weeks and the month is gone. Anyway here are all of the photos I took during the month :)

A shopping cart and a blessing

52_blessings_week 6
Have you ever had someone bless you by doing something small and seemingly unimportant? I had just such a blessing this week. On Sunday Jonah and I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of things after church. He parked the car and we went inside. We decided to get chicken from the Deli for lunch but it wasn't ready when we were done, so we decided to check out and I would take the boys to the car. After unloading the food and Will I realized the car was not parked next to a cart coral, now you have to realize that I am really particular about where I park when I am alone with the boys I always park a Cart Coral even if it means parking farther away. I make sure I am right next to one so I can get the boys out, unpack the food and then put the cart away. On this particular day we were across the street form the nearest one. So I was trying to decide what to do- Get Will back out, leave Will and take Jake with the cart back, put Jake in the car and take the cart back, wait until Jonah comes back. When all of the sudden a women comes up and says here let me take your cart. Not so that she could use it but just to take it back to the cart coral. Her sole intention was to bless me. It may not seem like much but to a mom of two little ones it was huge. So the lesson I learned standing in a Wal-mart parking lot on a Sunday morning was there are wonderful people and blessings all around- all you have to do is look.
